We love the N-1, we believe that it is a classic winter coat and we think that Trophy Clothing have once again managed to deliver just about the best one there is.
The outer of Trophy's N-1 is made from Grosgrain, which is a military spec tight weave fabric that is naturally water repellent and wind resistant. The inner of the jacket is lined with thick, comfortable, warm Alpaca wool blend, this has the dual effect of providing ultimate comfort for the wearer whilst insulating much more heat than a pure synthetic lining.
You would not expect a jacket from Trophy to be without its details, and the N-1 is no exception. The pockets are trimmed with horse hide leather for reinforcement, the jacket is closed with a vintage Talon zipper and vintage reproduction moulded buttons, the hem drawstring has steel aglets and the zipper pull is extra long for easy usage with gloves. This is not just an N-1, this is the N-1, and another fine piece of outerwear from Trophy Clothing.
Getting the wrong fit is upsetting, we know from long experience, please do double check against our HOW WE MEASURE guide, and the measurements table. We recommend you measure against an existing jacket that you like the fit of, and then choose accordingly. If you have any doubt about size PLEASE email us, we are so familiar with getting the right fit.
This is a sanforised jacket. The process of sanforising denim/cotton is designed to remove all of the shrink from it, and take away the guess work of the wearer when purchasing denim. Sanforised garments can be worn straight from the package.
Washing should be done with the jacket turned inside out, and creases should still be straightened if tumble drying is required to avoid unsightly marks on the denim. As with all natural woven fabrics the jacket will feel tighter after a wash, but it will stretch back out to its original size. If machine washing we recommend washing at no higher than 30 degrees celsius. We strongly recommend that this jacket is only dry cleaned.
