The Trialmaster is a classic of vintage motorcycle wear, made popular in Europe in the 1950's by Motoguzzi, and famously a favourite of movie icon Steve McQueen. The trialmaster is a jacket designed for long distance motorcycle riding through mostly dry climates, it is made of a very breathable yet heavy cotton canvas. The hardware is all specially made vintage reproduction and the jacket closes with a Waldes ring pull zipper and a snaps fastened storm flap.
Beautifully and authentically detailed with an offset breast map pocket for ease of reach whilst riding, and corduroy lined cuffs and collar. As you would expect from Trophy this is a very well made and detailed jacket, which will provide years of wear and only look better over time.
Getting the wrong fit is upsetting, we know from long experience, please do double check against our HOW WE MEASURE guide, and the measurements table. We recommend you measure against an existing jacket that you like the fit of, and then choose accordingly. If you have any doubt about size PLEASE email us, we are so familiar with getting the right fit.
This is a sanforised jacket. The process of sanforising denim/cotton is designed to remove all of the shrink from it, and take away the guess work of the wearer when purchasing denim. Sanforised garments can be worn straight from the package.
Washing should be done with the jacket turned inside out, and creases should still be straightened if tumble drying is required to avoid unsightly marks on the denim. As with all natural woven fabrics the jacket will feel tighter after a wash, but it will stretch back out to its original size. If machine washing we recommend washing at no higher than 30 degrees celsius.
